Writing Windows Screensavers in C++/MFC

If you don't use the Microsoft Foundation Classes then you may have to mix the ideas from this and the C instructions.

I've never got around to completing a screensaver class, but here's what you need to do.

• Derive a screensaverclass from the CWinAPP class.
• Add handlers for the different command line options
• Provide a basic black screen function to mirror the ScreenSaverProc in the C library. This would be overridden by the screensaver you are writing.
• Provide support for passwords in both NT and Win95.

Good examples of screensavers in C++/MFC can be found in the Microsoft SDK but they do not have the full security to make them true Win95 compatible.
